How To Epilate Legs
Epilation is the best option for you if you want a smooth hair free skin for 4-5 weeks. Once you are done with epilating, your hair will not come back before 4 weeks. If it grows anyway, then you can use it again as it is very easy to use. It feels painful for the new ones. But the pain will cope up. Just start using an epilator and you will love it for the rest of your life. You can epilate every part of your body. There is no limitation. You can epilate your hands, legs, underarm, pubic hair etc. I’m giving you some tips which will help you to epilate your legs properly. Because many of you face a lot of problems while epilating legs. Here are some tips which will help you to get the best result:
Preparation before starting
First of all, buy a good quality epilator which will help you to have hair free smooth legs for at least 4 weeks. If you buy a cheap epilator, it will eventually hurt you more and will not work properly. Your skin is very sensitive. So why would you choose cheap products to take care of it?
If your epilator is cordless, then remember to charge it fully, the day before you epilate. Because it will be a mess if you are done epilating one leg and then it stops working. So charge fully before using.
Exfoliate your legs in the shower. Exfoliation will help you to remove all the dead skins. It will also prevent ingrown hairs. Take a warm shower and exfoliate your skin. You can do it regularly. It will help you to have a healthy skin.
Remember to shave your legs the day before you epilate your legs. Shaving your legs will help you to have a few millimeter long hair which is great for epilation. It will be easier for you to epilate your legs if you shave the day before. Again, don’t let them be too small. Keep them in an average length.
You can take a painkiller one hour before you epilate. Epilation is pretty painful. You all know that. It depends on how much one person can hold pain. If you are too sensitive that you cannot take the pain then take a painkiller. It will reduce the pain. Though you will get used to it after epilating your skin for several times.
Steps during epilation
Choose a suitable place for epilating your legs. You can epilate your legs while showering or you can epilate when you are fully dry. It is your choice. I recommend not to epilate your legs during shower. Yes, it will reduce the pain. But it will take a lot of time. Plus it will be hard for the epilator to remove the wet hairs. So it is better to epilate your legs when you are dry.
Always start with a lower setting. You don’t want to have little red bumps after you epilate your legs. Then you will have to wear full pants all summer. So never start with a high setting. You will get hurt at first. Start with a lower setting. Once you are comfortable with the painful process, go to the higher setting.
Epilate in the way your hair grows. Don’t start from the bottom to up. It will let your hair grows reversely. Again start from the lower leg. Hold your skin taut so that you can easily remove your hair.
Never press the epilator hard against your legs. You will feel pain if you do that. So epilate your leg in a normal distance. Remember to take a break while you epilate your legs. Go slowly and take time. Never epilate your legs when you are in a hurry. Take proper time and you will be able to remove your hair from the legs properly.
Moisturize every time you epilate your legs. Your skin will get rough and dry if you don’t use a moisturizer.
Follow these steps and you will get a perfectly hair free and smooth legs.
